Audits that tell you more than whether the numbers add up
We carry out statutory, internal and donor-funded audits for SMEs, NGOs and public sector bodies. Each audit is planned around where your organisation carries the most risk, and we report back in plain language.

Audit and assurance services
Choose a single audit or combine them. We agree the scope with you in writing first.
Statutory and external audits
An independent audit of your financial statements, so lenders, investors, KRA and regulators can rely on them.
Internal audit
Risk-based reviews of how your organisation actually runs, with findings ranked by what matters most.
Internal controls and fraud risk
We test whether your controls work in practice and show you where money or data could leak.
Donor-funded project and grant audits
Audits against the grant agreement and your funder’s reporting format, including how the funds were used.
Public sector audits
Compliance and financial audits for public bodies that must account for public money.
Management letters
Clear recommendations after every audit, written for the people who will act on them.

Questions
Common questions about audit and assurance
If your question is not here, ask us directly. We reply in plain language.
Does my company need an audit?
Under the Companies Act, most Kenyan companies must have their annual financial statements audited, though some small companies are exempt. Banks, funders and tender committees often ask for audited accounts anyway. Tell us about your company and we will tell you where you stand.
How long does an audit take?
It depends on the size of the organisation and the state of its records. We agree a timetable with you before we start, and well-kept records shorten it.
Can you audit a project for a specific donor?
Yes. Send us the grant agreement and the donor’s audit terms of reference, and we will plan the audit around them.
