Find your tax risks before KRA does
A Tax Health Check is a structured review of your tax position across income tax, VAT, PAYE and withholding tax. You get a written report on where you are exposed, what you are overpaying and what to fix first.
Before a KRA audit, after a change of accountant, before a sale or investment, or if you have never had one.
A written report ranking each risk and saving, and a meeting to agree the next steps.
Corporate income tax, VAT, PAYE and withholding tax.
A project fee quoted on the size of the business and the period we review.
What we do
How the review works
Six steps, with the scope agreed before we start.
Review filings and records
We compare what you have filed with KRA against your books, contracts and bank records for the period we agree.
Identify tax risks
We list areas of non-compliance and reporting errors that could lead to penalties, interest or an audit.
Find missed savings
We look for deductions, allowances, exemptions and incentives you qualify for but have not claimed.
Recommend what to fix
Practical steps in order of priority, including whether to correct past returns.
Plan ahead
We look at planned investments and changes so your tax approach supports them.
Report and walk-through
A written report ranking each issue by risk and value, and a meeting to agree who does what.

Report and next steps
We walk you through what we found or filed, and what needs to happen next.
